Lee D. Cranberg

Lee D. Cranberg, M.D., is a fellowship-trained behavioral neurologist based in the Boston area who focuses on dementia, traumatic brain injury, and other disorders affecting cognitive function. He holds a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School that spanned from 1985 to 2022 and maintains an affiliation with Cambridge Health Alliance. He is board certified in neurology and licensed in Massachusetts.

Dr. Cranberg has published approximately 20 peer-reviewed articles across journals including Neurology, BMJ, and Dementia and Geriatric Cognitive Disorders. His published work spans topics such as neurologic patient safety and malpractice claims, neurobehavioral outcomes following closed head injury in childhood and adolescence, acquired aphasia, and peroneal neuropathy. He has also contributed to research on multiple sclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

In the forensic setting, he has served as an expert witness across a range of civil and criminal matters, including cases involving testamentary capacity, catastrophic and personal injury, medical malpractice, and death. His work in this capacity has included records review, neurological evaluation, deposition testimony, and trial testimony.
