David Turbay
About
Dr. David Turbay is a cardiologist based in El Paso, Texas, with more than 17 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine. His clinical focus includes heart failure, arrhythmia management, cardiac devices, hypertension, and vascular disease, with particular depth in advanced heart failure therapies, including heart transplant evaluations and the assessment and management of left ventricular assist devices. He holds board certifications in Cardiovascular Medicine, Advanced Heart Failure Therapies, and Nuclear Cardiology, and is also a Certified Cardiac Devices Specialist. He is the only certified practitioner in Advanced Heart Failure Therapies in the El Paso area.
Dr. Turbay completed his medical training at Harvard Medical School, Baylor College of Medicine, and Boston University, and finished his cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
