Ritvik Prakash Mehta

Dr. Ritvik Mehta is an otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon practicing in the San Diego area through California Head & Neck Specialists. His clinical focus centers on patients with facial paralysis, hearing and balance disorders, and skull base pathology. His surgical work includes otology and neurotology, lateral skull base surgery, cochlear and implantable hearing devices, gamma knife radiosurgery, facial reanimation surgery, and microtia and atresia repair.

Dr. Mehta completed his medical degree at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, then trained at Harvard Medical School for both his general surgery internship and his otolaryngology/head and neck surgery residency. He pursued additional fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, followed by a fellowship in otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery at UC San Diego. He holds hospital affiliations at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas, and Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, and is licensed to practice medicine in California.
