Michelle Lynette Vorwerk

Michelle Vorwerk, Psy.D., is a board-certified forensic psychologist based in Orange County, California, who has built her practice around the evaluation and diagnosis of mental disorders in legal contexts. She is the founder of Vorwerk Forensic Psychology, Inc., and holds board certification in forensic psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology.

Her evaluative work spans both civil and criminal matters, including competency assessments, criminal responsibility evaluations, emotional distress evaluations, sex offender and violence risk assessments, Miranda waiver evaluations, mental health diversion evaluations, psychological mitigation, and capacity assessments. She also provides psycho-legal consultation to attorneys and prepares forensic psychological reports.

Dr. Vorwerk has been in forensic practice for over 20 years and has testified as a qualified expert witness in well over a thousand cases across that period. She is licensed as a psychologist in California.
