Dr. Michael Safir is a board-certified reconstructive urologist based in the Los Angeles area who focuses exclusively on genital gender-affirming surgery. His subspecialty certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery gives him training and experience in both male and female genital reconstruction, and his surgical practice covers a broad range of procedures including phalloplasty, metoidioplasty, vaginoplasty, urethroplasty, penile implant placement, and reconstructive repair of fistulas and strictures.
