Mehrdad Ghahramani

Dr. Mehrdad Ghahramani is a cardiologist at the University of Miami Health System in Miami, Florida, where he serves as Director of Echocardiography. His clinical focus is on noninvasive diagnostic techniques, with particular expertise in cardiac imaging, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT, nuclear imaging, and structural heart disease cardiology. He also maintains an interest in preventive cardiology.

Dr. Ghahramani completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at Pennsylvania State University, where he received advanced echocardiography training and earned Level 3 certification in both transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. He holds a Voluntary Assistant Professor of Medicine appointment and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine, and is licensed in Florida.
