Kapil Gopal

Kapil Gopal, MD, MBA is a board-certified vascular and general surgeon practicing in Columbus, Ohio, where he is affiliated with Mount Carmel Health System. He completed his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine and his vascular surgery fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center, where he also holds a hospital affiliation. Additional affiliations include Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Lenox Hill Hospital.

His clinical focus spans the full breadth of open and endovascular vascular surgery, including aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy and carotid stent placement, lower extremity bypass and limb salvage procedures, thoracic outlet syndrome management, interventional peripheral vascular procedures, dialysis access placement, and venous disease management. He also performs vascular ultrasound and treats lymphedema. He is board certified in both vascular surgery and general surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
