Joshua Adam Schwimmer

Dr. Joshua Schwimmer is a nephrologist and internal medicine physician based in New York City, specializing in kidney disease and hypertension management for adult patients. He has more than 23 years of clinical experience in nephrology and internal medicine, practicing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan through Northwell Health Physician Partners. He joined the full-time medical staff of Lenox Hill Hospital and Northwell Health in 2014 and holds an appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He has also held faculty positions at Columbia University Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and New York University School of Medicine.

Dr. Schwimmer is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. His academic output includes more than 30 scientific papers, abstracts, and book chapters. He is licensed in New York.
