James Lineback

Dr. James Lineback is a board-certified pulmonary internist with a private practice in chest medicine based in Newport Beach, California. He has maintained that practice since 1984, with ten years of concurrent experience in emergency medicine and, since 2005, an additional focus on anti-aging medicine for the early detection and reversal of coronary heart disease. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and holds California licensure in internal medicine and pulmonary disease.

His clinical work covers a range of pulmonary and critical care conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, respiratory failure, septic shock, and perioperative care. He also performs life expectancy evaluations and assessments in catastrophic injury cases. Dr. Lineback has been involved in medical education since 1986 and currently teaches the Pathophysiology and Mechanisms of Disease at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine.

For over 25 years, Dr. Lineback has provided expert witness services in medical malpractice and personal injury matters, with particular focus on causation, disability, and life expectancy in complex catastrophic injury cases.
