David Michael Mckalip

David McKalip, M.D., is a neurosurgeon with more than twenty years of experience in neurological surgery, encompassing both brain and spine care. He currently practices at Brain and Spine Care in Cartersville, Georgia, with hospital affiliations at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center and AdventHealth Gordon Hospital in Calhoun. Before relocating to Georgia in early 2020, he practiced continuously for eighteen years in the Tampa Bay, Florida area.

Earlier in his career, Dr. McKalip served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco from 1998 to 2000, and subsequently held a clinical faculty appointment in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of South Florida. His clinical work spans surgical and non-surgical treatment of spine conditions, including neck and back pain, as well as arm and leg pain arising from spinal pathology. He is licensed in Georgia, Florida, and Oklahoma.
