Behnam Sharareh

Dr. Behnam (Ben) Sharareh is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon based in Oxnard, California, specializing in conditions of the shoulder and elbow. He practices with Ventura Orthopedics and holds staff privileges at St. Johns Regional Medical Center and Community Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Sharareh earned his undergraduate degree in Bioengineering from UCLA and his medical degree from UC Irvine. He completed his orthopedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine and then pursued fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Washington. His clinical focus encompasses the full range of shoulder and elbow pathology, including shoulder and elbow arthroplasty, rotator cuff repair, labral repair and stabilization, UCL reconstruction, distal biceps tendon repair, and arthroscopic procedures. He is licensed in California and Washington.
