Anne Speckhard, Ph.D., is a psychologist and the Director of the International Center for the Study of Violent Extremism (ICSVE), an organization focused on the research and study of terrorism, radicalization, and violent extremist movements. She served for over two decades as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Her work centers on the psychological dimensions of terrorism, trauma, and political violence, and she has conducted extensive field research interviewing individuals involved in or affected by violent extremism in various conflict zones.
